歐洲：海賊黨意外贏得歐洲議會席次，主張網路自由

這是CNN在6月8日的報導：Pirate Party wins surprise Euro seat, calls for Web freedom。

海賊黨（Piratpartiet）是瑞典的政黨，成立於2006年。基本政見有三：Pro-Privacy、Anti-Copyright、Ant-Patent。

具體來說，這個黨關於著作權的主張有二：

The Pirate Party wants a right for every citizen to gather, use, derive from, and distribute any culture, knowledge and public information, as long as it is for non-commercial use.

及

Copyrights need to return to a fair and balanced level, so the creator can have a short but long enough time of protection - say, five years - to make money off creative works in commercial environments.

至於專利的政見則是：

Patents are counteracting their original purpose, and need to be abolished completely.

在智財權君臨天下的現今，這個黨逆勢操作，也一直不被看好。

但是，這次選舉該黨得票率7.1%！贏得瑞典在歐洲議會18個議員席次的1席。

看來瑞典國內是有許多人是不喜歡Copyright的！
